Key Mile Stoneについて

このサイトは東京の小さなシェアハウスから始まりました。コロナ禍前のこの古いシェアハウスには海外からの留学生を中心に大勢の若者が集まっていました。そんな中、地方から転勤で仮住まいを求めて私がやってきたのは2014年の春でした。欧州、アメリカ、アジア、アラブ等々世界各国から集まった若者たちはこの初老の男を快く受け入れてくれました。お花見、スキーツアー、東京湾クルーズ等々一緒に過ごしました。多くの学生はコロナ禍によって自国に帰ってしまいましたがSNSによって繋がりは更に強くなりました。この繋がりがこのサイトになりました。現在は東京に残った仲間がこのサイトの運営をしています。彼らは専門性を持ち企業や学校に所属しながらこのサイトの運営を行っています。それは楽しいクラブ活動のようです。サイトの名前Key Mile Stoneとは「道標」「道しるべ」のこと。このサイトは迷い多き私たちの道標となるよう名付けました。

This site began as a small share house in Tokyo. Many young people, mostly international students from overseas, gathered in this old share house before the Corona Disaster. It was in the spring of 2014 that I came here seeking temporary housing due to a job transfer from the countryside. Young people from all over the world, including Europe, America, Asia, and the Arab world, gladly accepted this first generation man. We spent time together, cherry blossom viewing, ski tours, Tokyo Bay cruises, etc. Many of the students have returned to their home countries due to the Corona disaster, but the connection has become even stronger through social networking. This connection became this site. Now, the site is being managed by the remaining Tokyo-based staff. The current staff members have specialties and belong to companies and schools while managing this site. It is like a fun club activity. The name of the site, Key Mile Stone, means "signpost" or "guidepost. We named this site to be a Key Mile Stone for those of us who are often lost.
